Scott Harvey is one of the best trainers that I have worked with. Not only do our educators always enjoy his presentations, gain lots of useful information and give him great evaluations, but he is also fantastic to work with! Knowing that someone is going to work with you to meet the needs of your audience and leave them glad they came to your training is about as good as it gets for a training coordinator!

Sergeant Scott Harvey really gets to the heart of the matter. Bullying is happening, and it’s everyone’s job to help stop it. Sergeant Harvey conducted training in Owsley County for teachers at both the elementary and high school, the schools’ students, and the district’s bus drivers. All faculty paid rapt attention as he presented them with information they could actually use to make a difference. Students listened — really listened – as he spoke to them. Students were actively engaged in conversation and learning about bullying issues that they related to. A large portion of the presentation dealt with teaching students and staff how to deal with bullying in a positive, productive, and proactive manner. Our staff and students left the sessions feeling much better equipped to deal with situations should they arise. In this day and age, bullying is taking new and more complicated paths — cyber bullying and indirect bullying to name two. If you want to be proactive not reactive, if you want to be part of the solution not the problem, contact Sergeant Scott Harvey. Your faculty and students will be glad you did.
